Welcome to Meadow Retreat, a beautifully designed luxury countryside escape in a peaceful setting near Saltash, Cornwall, within easy reach of Whitsand Bay and Cornwall’s spectacular south coast.
Sleeping up to 12 guests, this spacious retreat is made for memorable family holidays, celebrations and getaways with friends. Recently refurbished with stylish, contemporary interiors, Meadow Retreat combines generous open-plan living with an impressive collection of facilities – meaning there’s just as much reason to stay in as there is to explore.
At the heart of the house is a gorgeous open-plan kitchen, dining and living space, flooded with natural light and designed for everyone to come together. A cosy log burner makes it equally inviting for autumn and winter escapes.
Step outside and the real holiday begins. The large, private and secure garden features a 7-person hot tub, Swedish sauna, outdoor shower and extensive decked entertaining area, complete with outdoor dining, BBQ and speakers – perfect for long summer evenings or relaxing beneath the stars.
Entertainment is covered whatever the weather. Meadow Retreat has its own dedicated cinema room with a 65″ 4K TV, Dolby surround sound and PS5, plus a fantastic games room with professional slate-bed pool table, table football and large TV. Full Sky, sports, movies and Netflix are available throughout.
The four spacious bedrooms have been designed with comfort in mind, with three featuring 6ft super king beds and two benefiting from their own private en-suite bathrooms. Egyptian cotton bed linen, fluffy towels and dressing gowns add a lovely hotel-style finishing touch.
Dogs are properly welcomed here too. The large garden is secure and dog-friendly, while dog beds, bowls, towels and washing facilities make travelling with four-legged family members refreshingly easy.
Perfectly positioned for exploring Cornwall, Meadow Retreat offers the peace and space of a countryside escape while being within easy reach of the coast. Seaton, Portwrinkle and the spectacular sands of Whitsand Bay are around 20 minutes away, while Bodmin Moor and the beautiful Tamar Valley provide endless opportunities for walking and exploring.

Forming the natural boundary between Cornwall and Devon, the valley has a character all of its own, offering a slower pace of life while still being within easy reach of the coast and many of Cornwall’s best-loved destinations.
The landscape is perfect for getting outdoors, with an abundance of walking routes, quiet country lanes and riverside trails to explore. Discover pretty villages tucked amongst the hills, stop at welcoming country pubs, browse local farm shops and enjoy the changing scenery as the river winds its way through the valley. Every guest can expect to find a luxury welcome hamper upon arrival, each property also provides fast Wi-Fi, high quality linen and towels, logs (where relevant), dishwasher tablets, tea towels and hand wash. Our minimum standards ensure you have everything you need for a memorable stay, but some properties may provide alternative or slightly varied items, so please request detailed information from our team before your stay, if still required.
Who Manages Cornish Stays properties
Each of our property owners have a local manager and housekeeping team on hand to prepare and clean the property, whilst also being available to resolve any potential issues during your stay.
If you have a problem during your stay who to contact
In any cases where you encounter a problem, please contact the property manager as soon as possible. You'll be able to find their details on your booking documents and on the guest information in the property. There's a 24/7 emergency contact number that goes straight through to the local property manager, so guests can rest easy that there’s always someone on the end of the phone if issues arise.
